Employment Highlights

  • Business, Association and Non-Profit Consultant – Management, Program, Budget and Policy Analyst working with 4 to 10 non-profit and associations each year since 2000.

  • Chief Operating Officer for the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse from 2000-2001; founding executive staff member tasked to establish the organizational structure, start-up and manage programs. GCSA is the statewide voice on reducing the impact of substance abuse through prevention and treatment.

  • Public Policy Director for the Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities from 1996 to 2000;

  • Local Government Consultant for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs from 1994 to 1995; assisted local governments with management and budget concerns to create solutions with maximum financial impact and minimum staff disruption.

  • Field Director for the American Heart Association serving Henry, Clayton, Fayette and Spalding Counties to raise awareness, promote heart healthy choices, and raise money to support research in 1994.

  • Congressional Aide to U.S. Senator Sam Nunn handling veterans affairs, small business issues, state department, and local government liaison with federal agencies from 1989 to 1994.
